I had a blast interviewing Abby for Sleeping with Sarah. I enjoyed talking about our strange sleep disorders, my narcolepsy and her circadian rhythm disorder (where your body naturally wants to be awake at night).
Abby yawns, like a lot, mostly because 2pm is still early morning for people circadian rhythm disorder. If you’ve ever wondered what Abby and I look like in bed together, check out the video on my YouTube channel below:
Abby Stassen will be performing at the Bird City Comedy Festival on April 10th opening for Dana Gould! You can also follow her on Twitter @wackyabby or visit her website for upcoming dates! www.abbystassen.com. As always, thanks to Josh Bryant for the music!

Amanda Lynn Deal Sleeps with Sarah Albritton in this video version of the podcast. I love that Amanda wore her onesie and it made me realize that I definitely need to step up my PJ game.
Enjoy the video version below and check out my YouTube Channel for additional episodes.
Sleeping with Sarah’s first podcast with Amanda Lynn Deal is now live! We talk about sleep, bedwetting, religion and living in a van! This was so much fun and you can now listen & subscribe on iTunes, Soundcloud, Libsyn and Stitcher.
March 6th-13th is Sleep Awareness Week and March 12th is Sleepy Saturday (or Narcolepsy Awareness Day). As someone who has narcolepsy, I thought it would be fun to create a light-hearted PSA about the disorder and how to spot potential symptoms. Narcolepsy is highly misdiagnosed (only about 25% of narcoleptics know they have it) even though it affects over 3 million people worldwide.
I worked with my friend, Steve Gast, an excellent editor and sound guru to write, direct and create this Funny Narcolepsy PSA. I hope you enjoy it and spread the word about narcolepsy!

Also a big thank you to everyone who helped working on and being in the video. Preston O’ffill, Sara Plano, Mark Parra, Elliott Lerner, Catherine Richardson, Ben Wiebers, Thomas P Clune, Grace Perry and Kimberly Walsh. Thanks so much to Steve for doing the editing and writing it with me!
